The 1st Regional Directorate of Meteorology issued a storm warning for the Marmara Region. It is expected that the wind will increase its effect in the evening hours and blow at 80-100 kilometers per hour on the European Side of Istanbul from time to time.
According to the statement made by the Regional Forecasting and Early Warning Center of the 1st Regional Directorate of Meteorology, storms are expected in Istanbul, Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Yalova.
By increasing the effect of the wind starting from the evening hours today, storms and strong storms from the south (50-80 km/h), Edirne and Kırklareli circles, east of Tekirdağ throughout the region (Istanbul, Edirne, Kırklareli, Tekirdağ, Kocaeli, Sakarya and Yalova) tomorrow. and it is estimated that it will blow in the form of a full storm (80-100 km / h) from time to time on the European side of Istanbul.
It was requested to be careful and cautious against negativities such as tree and pole falling due to the storm, roof flying, flue gas poisoning caused by stove and natural gas, and disruptions in transportation.
