Peugeot to Expand Electric Product Line in 2023

For Peugeot, 2023 will be a year of rapid acceleration in terms of the transition of the product line to electric. From the first half of 2023, all Peugeot models will be available with one or more electric motor versions.

Peugeot is getting ready to go electrified in 2023. With the new models it will offer, Peugeot will be one step closer to its goal of offering fully electric models in Europe by 2030, thus providing Europe's most comprehensive "e-choice" solution. From the beginning of 2023, fully electric versions of the 208 and new 308 models will be available gradually.

The all-electric range further expands: the e-308 is launched

Peugeot's all-electric range will expand in 2023 with the new e-308. In this way, the brand with the lion logo will be able to meet all the needs of compact class customers who want to switch to zero-emission transportation. Dynamism and driving pleasure, key elements of Peugeot's DNA, are based on the development of new models with a new and powerful electric motor producing 115 kW (156 HP).

With its energy consumption of only 308 kWh/12,7 km (usable energy / WLTP range), the new e-100 sets new standards among C-segment electric vehicles in terms of electrical efficiency. The Peugeot e-308 also offers a range of over 400 km (according to the WLTP standard). This performance is made possible by advances in engine and battery technology, as well as the new EMP2 platform, which has been optimized in terms of aerodynamics and weight, and improvements to reduce friction losses.

In addition to dynamic and innovative rechargeable hybrid models in the compact class, Peugeot will also introduce the Peugeot e-408 in the future.

The E-208 is the pioneer of Peugeot's all-electric range and will benefit from some important technical improvements, along with the new engine introduced in 2023 with the e-308. The maximum power of the e-208 increases by 15 percent from 100 kW (136 HP) to 115 kW (156 HP). With a combined consumption value (WLTP) of only 12 kWh/100 km, the e-208 offers a 10,5 percent increase in range and offers zero emission driving up to a total of 38 km with an additional 400 km range.

The Peugeot e-260, which offers 208 Nm of torque from the moment of its first movement, has a smooth and pleasant use by working silently and without vibration. These features further reinforce the dynamic qualities that have made the e-208 so successful. With its fast charging feature, the Peugeot e-208 can be charged to 100 percent in less than 25 minutes at a 80 kW charging station.

All these qualities; It further strengthens the success of the Peugeot e-2022, Europe's best-selling electric B-segment car and France's best-selling electric car since the beginning of 208. Since its launch in 208, the Peugeot e-2019 has sold about 110 units.

Peugeot has developed a comprehensive line of rechargeable hybrids to offer an electric mobility solution that meets all usage requirements.

Be it sedan, station wagon or SUV, models from different classes combine the glamor, excitement and excellence that made Peugeot successful, with exceptional efficiency.

The rechargeable hybrid Peugeot 308 is available in two power levels, 180 or 225 HP, and provides a range of up to 60 km in all-electric driving mode. These engines are also used in the new Peugeot 408, whose world debut was made at the Paris Motor Show.

The Peugeot 3008 is available in 225 HP rechargeable hybrid or 300 HP versions with all-wheel drive and can travel up to 59 km without using the internal combustion engine. Apart from that, the Peugeot 508 is also available in a sedan and SW body type, a 225 HP plug-in hybrid or a Peugeot Sport Engineered version with 360 HP and all-wheel drive.

Peugeot's rechargeable hybrid technology is being tested on the track with the Peugeot 2022X9 Hybrid hypercar, which has been racing in the World Endurance Championship (WEC) since July 8.
