The drinking water drilling well, which was designed with an investment of approximately 7 million liras throughout the Tire district of Izmir, continues. 12 of the 8 drilling wells within the scope of the project, which will meet the water needs of the district to a large extent, have been completed. Work for the 9th well continues in Duatepe Mahallesi.
İZSU teams continue their field work for drinking water investments that will cover the center of Tire and its subsidiaries. Drilling well works have been completed in 8 neighborhoods of the district. The work of the 9th borehole in Duatepe District has reached a depth of 150 meters. The well, which has a water efficiency of 15 liters per second, is planned to advance another 50 meters.
With the completion of the project, which will open a total of 12 boreholes, the drinking water resources of the district will increase significantly. İZSU General Directorate, which aims to provide uninterrupted access to clean water for every household in İzmir, will continue its investments throughout the city in line with this target.
