C4X, the new compact class representative of Citroen, whose world premiere was held in Istanbul in June, will be put on sale in Turkey as of January 2023.
Citroen C4X combines the elegant silhouette of a fastback car, the modern stance of an SUV and the spaciousness of a 4-door car with the fastback design language.
The new C4X will contribute to the increase in sales of Citroen in European and international markets and to the expansion goals of the brand. The new C4X is an environmentally friendly and elegant alternative to options in the high-volume compact car segment. All the comfort, technology, safety, spaciousness and versatility expected from Citroen are differentiated with a unique “Cross Design”.
With a length of 4 millimeters and a wheelbase of 600 millimeters, the new C2X uses Stellantis' CMP platform. The front features Citroen's assertive V design signature. The high and horizontal engine hood has concave recesses. The brand's logo emphasizes the width of the body by linking with the Citroën LED Vision headlights, which increase the emphasis on advanced technology and improve vision.
On either side of the hexagonal lower grille are fog lamp bezels with colored inserts to match the Airbump panels on the doors. The large diameter wheels increase the sense of height, while also creating an elevated driving position for the driver, resulting in a more environmentally friendly ride and a greater sense of safety. The lower body claddings with Airbump panels with colored inserts and the matte black fender liners offer additional protection.
When viewed from the profile, the flowing roof line extending from the windshield to the rear trunk lid draws attention and creates an extremely dynamic fastback silhouette instead of the cumbersome structure seen in high vehicles in the segment.
The rear design hides the length needed to cover the 510-litre large trunk. The rear panel of the tailgate, which curves towards the rear bumper, the integrated spoiler at the top, the subtle curves and the central Citroen lettering present a modern and dynamic look. Led taillights carry the lines of the trunk lid, continue on the side of the car by covering the corners, take the shape of an arrow before the rear door, and complement the design of the striking headlights, strengthening the dynamism of the silhouette.
The lower inserts of the rear bumper are covered with matte black inserts for protection and durability. Gloss black inserts create an elegant and modern look, while the side cutouts echo the solid feel of the C4X.
The interior of the new Citroen e-C4X and C4X offers enhanced comfort, peace and spaciousness thanks to Citroen Advanced Comfort. The second row legroom of 198 millimeters and the more inclined (27 degrees) rear seat backrest take the comfort level of the rear passengers to the next level. With a trunk width of 800 millimeters and shoulder room of 366 millimeters, the rear seats make three people comfortable.
Advanced comfort seats offer dynamic support with 15 millimeters thickened special foam. Passengers can enjoy the ride in a comfortable seat, isolated from the noise and disturbances of the road. The high-density foam in the center of the seats provides a high level of strength and comfort on long journeys.
Unlike a mechanical stop that absorbs energy and then returns some of it as an impact, a hydraulic stopper absorbs and distributes this energy.
The 4-liter large trunk of the new Citroen C510X will be especially welcomed by users who expect an isolated trunk from the main cabin and attach importance to rear seat comfort. The loading threshold of 745 millimeters and the height of 164 millimeters between the trunk floor and the sill make it easy to load goods. The rear seat backrests fold forward for additional carrying capacity, and the “ski cover” in the armrest makes it easy to transport long items.
