National Poet Mehmet Akif Ersoy Commemorated with His Works in Bursa

The national poet was commemorated with his works at the night organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality as part of the 20 - 27 December Mehmet Akif Ersoy Memorial Week events.

At the 'Voice of Right Mehmet Akif' poetry concert held at the Aircraft Cultural Center, İbrahim Sadri sang the works of Mehmet Akif Ersoy such as 'Çanakkale Martyrs, Nightingale, Naat One Night'. Citizens showed great interest in the night where anecdotes about Mehmet Akif's life were told.

In addition, works by Bahattin Karakoç, Abdurrahim Karakoç, Sezai Karakoç and Yavuz Bülent Bakiler, performed by İbrahim Sadri, were listened with interest. Bursa residents had an emotional evening with the program attended by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Fethi Yıldız. At the end of the night, Deputy Chairman Yıldız presented a Green Tomb figurine to İbrahim Sadri in memory of the day.
