“Citizen will pay 25 cents for the bag again”
According to the statement made by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, according to the Presidential decision published in the Official Gazette, the plastic bag recycling contribution share was 38,5 kurus. Accordingly, the amount that the markets will pay to the state for each bag that will be put on the market will be 38,5 kuruş.
There will be no change in the 25 cents that the citizen will pay for the bag.
The recycling contribution fee to be paid by the markets in the bag was determined as 38,5 kuruş.
This year, a reduction was made in the recycling contribution share, which is determined according to the re-evaluation rate each year, with the decision of the President.
In the increase planned to be made at the rate of 122,93 percent, the plastic bag recycling contribution share, which should be 55 cents, was determined as 38,5 by using the discount authority.
