MG4 Electric Receives 5 Stars from Euro NCAP

The MG brand, of which Doğan Trend Automotive is the Turkey distributor, was able to earn 4 stars, the highest rating in the current Euro NCAP safety tests, with the new MG5 Electric model. With the MG4 Electric, an MG model with a Modular Scalable Platform has joined Euro NCAP for the first time and proved its success. MG Pilot Technological Driving Assistance, which is standard on all versions of the MG4 Electric model, plays a valuable role in this success. After the HS and ZS EV models, the MG4 was included in the brand's 5-star safety family. The MG100 Electric, the first 4% electric crossover in the C segment, represents a new milestone in the growth strategy for the brand.

The well-established automobile brand MG (Morris Garages), which can appeal to all tastes and needs at the same time thanks to its wide product range in many countries around the world, has added a new one to its successes. In 4, the MG2022 Electric earned 5 stars from Euro NCAP with full success as a result of rigorous tests that tested child and adult occupant safety, pedestrian protection and vehicle safety support functions. The biggest reason for this success is the MG Pilot technological driver assistance system, which is offered as standard on all MG4s. Another highlight of MG4 Electric's success at Euro NCAP is that, for the first time, an MG model featuring the Modular Scalable Platform (MSP), a new adaptive vehicle architecture designed by MG to support the next generation of MG cars across Europe, has been delivered to Euro NCAP testing. to represent the results.

Doğan Trend Otomotiv is preparing to introduce the MG4 Electric, which was introduced globally in September, to its users in our country in the first quarter of 2023. The dynamic design of the MG5 Electric, which draws attention with its 4-star safety like other MG models, was developed with the collaboration of the Advanced Design Studio in London and the Royal College of Art, also located in the capital city of England. The innovative “ONE PACK” battery forms the basis of the MG4 Electric's dynamic appearance. Measuring only 110 mm in height with the horizontal arrangement of its cells, the One Pack faucet is the thinnest faucet in its class and is even lower than a beverage can. Thanks to the thin battery, more interior volume is obtained without increasing the vehicle height. The battery is also part of MG's MSP platform for electric vehicles. The smart and modular structure of the architecture offers many advantages in terms of flexibility, space utilization, safety and driving experience. The scalable structure can be used for wheelbase alternatives between 2.650 and 3.100 mm. The platform supports the design of different bodywork components for different segments through the same platform, from sedans and hatchbacks to SUVs, minibuses and sports cars that reflect the brand's history.

Proving itself with Euro NCAP's high scores in adult passenger, child passenger safety ratings and pedestrian protection ratings, MG4 Electric's standard MG Pilot Driving Assistance System played an important role in its high scores in safety system ratings. Thanks to the comprehensive driving support systems of the MG brand, which are branded as MG Pilot, MG models offer Level 2 autonomous driving support. The main MG Pilot Technological Driving Assistance Systems in the MG5 Electric, which managed to win 4 stars from Euro NCAP, are Automatic Emergency Braking System, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Driver Distraction Warning, Intelligent High Beam Control and Speed Assist System, It provides additional safety for passengers and other road users.
