Media and Culture International Symposium Ended

The "International Symposium on Media and Culture" organized by the Department of Journalism of the Faculty of Communication within the scope of the digitalization efforts of Ege University has ended. EU Rector Prof. Dr. Necdet Budak, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Türk, Dean of EU Faculty of Communication Prof. Dr. Bilgehan Gültekin, Head of Journalism Department Prof. Dr. Pelin Dündar, Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University faculty member Assoc. Dr. During the symposium, where Gökçe Yoğurtçu made the opening speeches, a total of 12 papers were presented in 44 sessions by experts in the field of communication.

Making the closing speech of the symposium, EU Communication Faculty Journalism Department Head Prof. Dr. Pelin Dündar said, “There were 12 sessions throughout our symposium. 44 papers were presented in these sessions. When we look at its content; Different elements were analyzed in different fields such as Digitalization, New Media, Artificial Intelligence, Advertising, Social Media, Visual Design, Television and Cinema. We live in a world where the only constant is change. We have better understood how these elements have also undergone changes, thanks to what our esteemed participants conveyed to us.
