The laboratory class and library established by Keçiören Municipality in Şehit Mustafa Ünal Secondary School in the district were opened with the opening ceremony attended by Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok.

Speaking at the opening with the participation of students, teachers and parents, President Turgut Altınok said, “It is education that revives nations. Again, it is the lack of education that brings the nations to humiliation and poverty. The first command of my Lord is ikra, that is, read. Our age is the age of information and technology. Countries with knowledge and technology are now the most powerful and richest countries in the world. We also need to produce. We have UAVs and SİHAs, we have robots, rockets, submarines and aircraft carriers. But these are not enough. Because knowledge and technology have no end. The most powerful companies in the world today are software companies. Software companies have surpassed the world's well-established oil, weapons and pharmaceutical companies. We recently opened our Technology Center. It is the only one in Ankara. I hope we will train our scientists and the software developers of the future here.” said.

Altınok, who also gave some advice to the students in the field, continued his speech as follows:

“You will think about technology sciences, earth sciences, space sciences, astronomy. Each of you will become a library. Each of you will rule the country in the future. According to him, you will raise yourself in the best way. There is a blank check from us to our schools... Let's give our laboratories and libraries whatever you want. Learn our history, past, identity, national and spiritual values well. Find out how Atatürk founded the Republic of Turkey. Find out how he defeated seven heifers and how the Turkish nation was reborn from its ashes. Read, be knowledgeable in every field. I hope your future is brighter and brighter. We love you. Let our library be chirpy. Let our scientists and scientists come out of our laboratories. I kiss your eyes."

Stating that he commemorated the martyr Mustafa Ünal, whose name is kept alive in the school, with mercy and gratitude, Altınok said, “We are grateful to our martyrs and veterans, families of martyrs and veterans. We commemorate all our martyrs and veterans, especially the founder of our state, the great commander, Veteran Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with mercy and gratitude." he said.

After his speech, President Altınok cut ribbons with students and teachers and opened the laboratory and library.
