High School Teens Relieve Stress with Bowling in Bursa

In the High School Bowling Event held within the scope of the Metropolitan School Sports Activities (BOSE) organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, approximately 2000 students relieved stress and had fun.

With the Metropolitan School Sports Activities (BOSE), organized within the scope of the protocol signed by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality with the Provincial Directorate of National Education, 10 thousands of students met with sports this year. Metropolitan Municipality brought together about 7 high school students from 14 schools in 2 districts, 'within the framework of the same organization', at the Inter-High School Bowling Event. Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş and Provincial Director of National Education Serkan Gür shared the excitement of high school students at the event at the Korupark AVM Bowling Hall.

Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Alinur Aktaş said that they aim to give children and young people the habit of doing sports with school sports activities. Stating that 1 million 600 thousand children have benefited from the sports activities of the Metropolitan to date, Mayor Aktaş said, “We continue to bring our children together with sports. Our aim; to gain the habit of sports, to enable our young people to socialize and to contribute to the excitement of competition. They also help develop our children's decision-making skills and abilities.

Sports for all age groups

Expressing that they organize special events for each age group within the scope of the project, Mayor Aktaş said, "We are holding our children of all ages with our Adventure Track, Mangala Festival, I'm Learning Swimming, Sports Truck in My Village, Street Basketball, Athletics, April 23 Children's Run, Ski Festival and Special Kids Table Tennis Festival. We met with sports. We also organized bowling, sledding, e-sports and foot tennis tournaments for our high school students. Our biggest investment is our children, who are our future. It's the least we can do for them. We have personally witnessed that our children experience a different ambiance here. I congratulate our athletes who participated," he said.

Bursa Provincial Director of National Education Serkan Gür said, “Our youth feel very good with these activities. Indeed, our events stand out in a striking way. Our young people both have fun and throw out their positive energy. Our aim is to raise healthy generations,” he said.

The high school students who participated in the bowling organization where fierce competition was experienced also thanked the Metropolitan Municipality for providing such an opportunity.
