China has sent a new satellite called Gaofen-11 04 into space.
It was announced that the satellite, which was sent into space by the Long March-15B carrier rocket at 37:4 Beijing time today from the Taiyuan Spacecraft Launch Center in Shanxi province, China, has successfully positioned itself in its planned orbit.
Gaofen-11 04 will mainly serve in the fields of national land surveying, city planning, area calculation, road design, harvest forecasting, and disaster prevention and mitigation.
The final launch mission was the 457th mission of carrier rockets from the Long March series.
