China's Offshore Wind Energy Project Puts into Operation

Once the last wind turbine was connected to the grid for electricity generation, the State Power Investment Corporation's Jieyang Shenquaner Offshore Wind Power Project was completed and operational by connecting the capacity to the grid. Thus, China's largest commercial single unit capacity offshore wind fan was commissioned.

The Jieyang Shenquaner Offshore Wind Energy Fan uses 11 megawatts of wind turbines and is currently the largest single powerful wind turbine commercially available in China. The fan in question can meet the annual electricity needs of approximately 20 thousand households.
