Stakeholders met in Luxembourg in the third leg of the “Information Evaluation and Awareness Dialogue Between Business People and New Participants for a Resilient Green Development” project, implemented under the coordination of Gaziantep Young Business People Association (GAGİAD).
On behalf of GAGİAD, Project Coordinator and member of the association Lect. See. Şehnaz Sakici and Dr. The agenda of the meeting attended by Faculty Member Filiz Çayırağası was “development of the social economy in the public and private sectors”.
The third phase of the project, which was implemented under the coordination of Gaziantep Young Businessmen Association (GAGİAD) within the scope of Erasmus+ Small-Scale Partnerships in the Field of Vocational Education Projects supported by the Turkish National Agency and the European Commission, and which received support by ranking in the first 67 among 8 applications, has been completed.
The stakeholders, who met in Copenhagen in the second phase of the project, the first of which was hosted by GAGİAD in Gaziantep, were organized in Luxembourg for the 3rd phase works.
GAGİAD representatives, who visited the green cities practices in the region within the scope of the project, also shared their experiences in Gaziantep with stakeholders from Spain, Greece, Luxembourg and Denmark.
At the meeting hosted by the project partner SDG World in Luxembourg, “development of the social economy in the public and private sectors” was determined as the agenda item. Within the scope of this theme, presentations and information sessions were held.
A presentation on “Women Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Encountered Economic Challenges in the Center of Europe” was given by Ms. Dimitra Fantides, a Political Scientist in the field of agricultural products and their marketing in Luxembourg and Member of the Board of Directors of the Agri-Food Cooperative “GESPOV”.
The next transnational activity of the project, which continues with the question and answer section, will be held in Zaragoza, Spain, with the theme of “Empowering rural women entrepreneurs within the scope of information and communication technologies”.
