Exercise in Keçiören Cable Car from Gendarmerie Search and Rescue

Gendarmerie Search and Rescue Teams under the Gendarmerie General Command are conducting training exercises on the cable car in Keçiören.

The first day of the 16-day exercise, which will be carried out by the teams assigned to respond to accidents that may occur in 10 provinces with ski centers, and to be stranded on chairlifts and cable cars, has been successfully completed.

Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, who stated that they gladly accepted the training request from the Gendarmerie Commando Special Public Security Command and that they were happy to host the search and rescue teams in Keçiören, said, “Our door is wide open to our soldiers, police and all security forces. It is our main duty to support their working and educational activities. We are pleased to host our Gendarmerie search and rescue teams in our district. I hope there will be no accidents or disasters. However, their presence gives us confidence. May Allah be pleased with each of our soldiers, gendarmes and search and rescue team. May Allah make it easy for all of them."
