Emirates, the world's largest international airline, has completed its latest IATA Operational Safety Audit (IOSA) with zero findings; this is an excellent result and rare in the industry given the complexity of airline operations.

Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, said: “This achievement was achieved as part of the IOSA audit. Safety is one of Emirates' core values and from day one we have continuously invested in ensuring our operations meet the highest safety standards. Completing an IOSA audit with zero findings is a huge achievement, especially in the context of our rapid post-pandemic traffic expansion and Emirates' global network. Thanks to our internal teams and external partners who help Emirates safely transport thousands of people and tons of cargo around the world every day. By continuing to work intensively in this area, we will contribute to the formation of a safe and sustainable aviation industry.”

More than 1.000 standards and recommended practices were evaluated over five days by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) accredited inspection body to determine how well Emirates' operations management system complies with the IOSA Standards and Recommended Practices (ISARP).

With this comprehensive audit report, Emirates demonstrated the rigor of its systems and processes to ensure the safe operating practices and airworthiness of its modern fleet of Boeing 777 and Airbus A380 aircraft.

Emirates promotes a strong safety culture at all levels of the organisation. Airline operational safety policies are continually reviewed and adjusted to the highest standards as regulations are revised or new aircraft are introduced. Emirates Compliance Monitoring team continually audits the airline's network systems and procedures against IOSA standards to detect and address non-compliances. Emirates managers are also kept informed of compliance within the organization as part of regular reviews to maintain the level of safety and security in an ever-changing industry.

Emirates is an award-winning international airline with a global presence on six continents, connecting passengers to 140 destinations and facilitating global trade through its modern hub in Dubai. Most recently, the airline received the “World Class Award” for safety, comfort, sustainability, service and inclusivity at the APEX 2023 Awards. Emirates also received a “5 Star Global Official Airline Rating” and “Passenger Choice Award for Best Global Entertainment”. It also won two awards at ULTRAs 2022, “The World's Best Airline” and “The Middle East's Best Airline”.
