The branches of the Google Developer Groups (Google Developer Groups), a community of non-profit software developers with branches in 100 countries and 555 cities, make great contributions to the technology industry by organizing Devfest conferences every year. This year's Devfest Istanbul conference was held on 11 December with record attendance.

Participants and speakers from many parts of Turkey and the world met at 11 Uniq Hall for the Devfest Istanbul event organized by GDG Istanbul, the Istanbul branch of Google Developer Groups (GDG), on 2022 December 2022. The event, which took place face-to-face in 2019, before the last pandemic, attracted great interest after the pandemic. With the participation of over 2000 people, Devfest Istanbul 2022 managed to become the biggest Devfest event in Europe with a record.

In the event, where speakers from the world's leading technology companies such as Google, Meta and Amazon were also present, a total of 45 presentations on many different topics in artificial intelligence, cloud computing, mobile application development and other technology were made in four different halls. Some of the prominent speakers were Lemi Orhan Ergin, Hadi Tok, İrem Kömürcü, George Kortsaridis, Elif Bilgin, Damian Burke, Fatih Kadir Akın, Barış Yesugey, Uğur Umutluoğlu and Yusuf Sarıgöz.

In addition to the presentations made at the event, the participants had the opportunity to meet people and experts with similar interests in the software industry. GDG Istanbul achieved an important success with Devfest, which was also organized by entertaining events, and received positive feedback from the participants and speakers, as in previous years.
