Going to Altai by train and skiing has become a new travel choice for many tourists this ski season. Xinjiang railway organizes a special train service for ice and snow tourism. Going to Altai by train and skiing has become a new travel choice for many tourists this ski season.

The first ice and snow tourism special train named “Altai, the Snow Capital of China” departed from Urumqi station of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of China on 28 December. The train in question has a distance of 908 kilometers. The train departs in the evening and arrives at the destination in the morning.
