Bursa Courthouse Junction Opened to Traffic

At the Courthouse Junction, which was designed by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to eliminate the traffic load at the connection point of the Near East Ring Road to Istanbul Street, the junction branches are opened to traffic, while the border, pavement and landscaping works continue rapidly.

In order to eliminate the transportation problem in Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality, which continues its works such as road widening and new roads, smart intersections, promoting public transportation, and rail system investments, is opening the blocked veins of traffic with new bridged intersections. With the relocation of the new courthouse, the traffic load at the connection point of the Near East Ring Road to Istanbul Street was increasing day by day, and the Metropolitan Municipality solved this problem with a two-loop intersection. Within the scope of the project, two bridges with a length of 3 meters with 117 spans and a length of 2 meters with 54 spans and a connection road of 3 thousand 500 meters were built. The bridge, which was built to enter Fair Street from the Near East Ring Road, which was completed within the scope of the feverishly ongoing works in the region, the bridge and junction branches and connection roads on the going and coming directions of the main road were put into use. While border and pavement arrangements continue in the area, afforestation and landscaping works have been started in the intersection area by the Agriculture and Peyzaj A.Ş teams.

Reminding that the Near East Ring Road is being used more and more intensively due to the intense construction under the Ankara road, Metropolitan Mayor Alinur Aktaş noted that they are trying to eliminate this density with the intersection and bridge works they have done. Stating that the construction of the Fuat Kuşçuoğlu Bridge, which they built to the Acemler and Yunuseli junction point of the road, continues rapidly, President Aktaş said, “The new courthouse, Bursa BTM, exhibition center, Gökmen Aerospace and Aviation Center and the Police Headquarters will be part of this Near East Ring Road. There was significant congestion. For this reason, it became a necessity to make an intersection in the region. We have completed an important project that will relieve our citizens who receive service from here, especially the members of the courthouse. With the opening of the junction and connecting branches to transportation, relief began to be felt. Hopefully, we will have completed the landscaping productions in a short time.
