Bozankaya company introduced “Trambus”, “Turkey's first domestic high-tech battery powered trolleybus” with “zero carbon emission and climate-friendly technology”, designed and produced by Turkish engineers at the factory in Ankara Sincan 1st Organized Industrial Zone.

Bozankaya Chairman of the Board of Directors Aytunç Günay stated that as a company, they aim to be among the top 10 exporters of Turkey. Noting that they are working for a 'sustainable world' with their innovative, environmentally friendly production that minimizes carbon emissions, Günay said, “We are proud to represent Turkish technology in the production of electric commercial vehicles both in our country and in the world. We invest heavily in R&D. We design and manufacture customer-specific, tailored to their needs. Glad we have a 'know-how' to compete with world giants in terms of design and production. Now we are setting off with our high-tech, new generation, battery-powered domestic trolleybuses that will represent Turkey in Europe and in the world.

Bozankaya According to the information given by; The newly introduced trolleybus stands out compared to its competitors with its features such as 7/24 operation, zero carbon emissions, energy saving and a battery-powered system. The daily passenger carrying capacity of the trolleybuses, which can accommodate a total of 160 people, will be 95 thousand. Seated passenger capacity will be 32 percent. According to company officials, vehicles that can reach a maximum range of 50 km with their batteries without being connected to the catenary line; Thanks to its rechargeable batteries on the go, it will be able to reach unlimited range. In this way, both time, fuel and maintenance costs will be saved. Trolleybuses provide fuel savings of up to 40 percent in one day compared to diesel vehicles, while this rate rises to 80 percent in maintenance. Trolleybuses can carry passengers without a catenary line (electric supply line).

The company also delivered the first trolleybus of the fleet, which will consist of 12 vehicles specially produced for Şanlıurfa. The entire fleet is scheduled to enter service in 2023.
