Actor Henry Cavill has announced that he will not star in the new Superman movie that will be penned by James Gunn, director of Guardians of the Galaxy and new head of DC Studios.

According to the news in The Guardian, the new Superman movie written by James Gunn will take the character to a different route and focus on the younger years of the superhero. It was stated that the Clark Kent years, where Superman worked for the Daily Planet newspaper, will come to the fore in the film.
