“Atatürk Boulevard is actually an open-air museum of our Republic, rather than being an ordinary commercial axis or a route. When you look at Atatürk Boulevard, it is possible to see all the traces of the founding philosophy of the Republic there. Therefore, we have addressed this issue as a priority. The project we prepared in the first stage covers an area of approximately 10 hectares between the Hittite Monument in Sıhhiye and the TBMM.”

Ödemiş stated that they have completed the facade improvement and urban design project works of 63 buildings and said, “We will start the implementation next year. With this project, we aim to transform Kızılay, which exists in the social memory of both Turkey and Ankara, back to its old days. We are planning a transformation from a vehicle-first Kızılay to a pedestrian-first Kızılay. As in European city squares, Kızılay sidewalks will turn into living cafes. The good results we will get here will also encourage the second and third stages.” used his statements.
