Brother Village Schools Community will keep the names of Martyr Infantry Lieutenant Burhan Sönmez, Martyr Expert Sergeant Sami Yılmaz and Martyr Expert Sergeant Onur Kıran alive in Akharım Primary School Martyrs Library and Art Workshop. The library and art workshop, where the names of the martyrs will be kept alive, were opened in Akharım Primary School in the district of Sandıklı.

The opening ceremony was attended by the District Governor of Sandıklı Mehmet Sülün, the Founder of the Brother Village Schools Community Hilal Kalafat, the School Principal Nurettin Karabınar, institution directors, families of martyrs, students and citizens.

“The mothers of our martyrs are our mothers, their fathers are our fathers”

Speaking in the program that started with a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, District Governor of Sandıklı Mehmet Sülün said, “However we show respect to the precious families of our martyrs, we still cannot give them their due. We pray for our martyrs. Their mother is our mother, their father is our father, their trust is our trust. We need to protect their trust by raising valuable students who will follow them, by raising useful children for this country.” used his statements.

In her speech at the ceremony, Founder of Brother Village Schools Community Hilal Kalafat said, “As Brother Village Schools Community, we are carrying out these projects in 81 provinces in order to keep the names of our martyrs alive. Today, we are happy to realize our 568th project at Akharım Primary School.” used his statements.

Kalafat said that martyrs live little in the world, but their names will live long. As we said, our martyrs have lived little in this world, but I hope their names will live long. We would like to thank our district governorship, our valuable law enforcement officers, as well as all the families of martyrs for their support.” said.

Akharım Primary School Principal Nurettin Karabınar thanked Hilal Kalafat, Founder of Kardes Village Schools Community, for his support and said:

“Our main goal is to prepare our children for the future and life in the best possible way, as a good person, a good citizen and a person with a developed self-confidence. Our library is truly dazzling as a tool, both in terms of design and rich content.”

After the speeches, the families of the martyrs and members of the protocol cut the ribbon and opened the Martyrs' Library and Art Workshop.
