“We have assumed the leading role in Eurasia with the effective, active and planned investments carried out in aviation policy for 20 years. As a result of agreements and negotiations, we added 2003 new destinations to 50 international destinations in 60 countries in 282. As of November 2022, we have increased our flight network to 130 destinations in 342 countries. We have transformed Turkish civil aviation into the country with the largest flight network in the world.”

Karaismailoğlu reminded that they increased the number of airports from 26 to 57 during this period, and that they offered many airports, especially Istanbul, Rize-Artvin, Yeni Tokat, Ordu-Giresun airports, to the service of citizens. Emphasizing that the number of domestic destinations is supported by cross flights, Karaismailoğlu said, "We almost covered the Turkish airspace with airline networks." used the phrase.

Karaismailoğlu stated that they have achieved great increases in the capacity in the aviation sector with the investments they have made, and that the number of aircraft, which was 2003 in 162, increased by 2022 percent to 265 as of November 592. Karaismailoğlu stated that in the January-November period, the aircraft traffic arriving and departing from the airports was 729 thousand 558 on domestic lines and 651 thousand 716 on international lines, so that a total of 1 million 738 thousand 608 aircraft traffic was reached with overpasses. Pointing out that the total air traffic increased by 29,3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year, Karaismailoğlu said that in the 11-month period, domestic passenger traffic increased by 15,2 percent to 72 million 651 thousand, and international passenger traffic increased by 75,5 percent to 96 million 423 thousand. recorded.

Minister Karaismailoğlu stated that the number of passengers they host with transit passengers increased by 43,4 percent and reached 169 million 450 thousand.
