Aiming to leave a positive mark on the society by observing digital and social equality of opportunity, Turkcell developed projects and innovative practices focused on leaving no one behind throughout the year.

Intelligence Strength reaches more than 150 thousand students
The Intelligence Power Project, carried out by Turkcell in cooperation with the Ministry of National Education to prepare gifted children for the world of the future, has reached more than 2016 thousand students since 150. Within the scope of the project, in 45 provinces; A total of 3 Intelligence Power Laboratories were established with all the tools that could be needed from 80D printers to sensor kits, from laptops to smart boards. In addition, Turkcell Maker and Coding kits, developed entirely in Turkey, were distributed to more than 81 thousand students in 30 provinces. Students with this kit received 250 thousand hours of robotics and coding training over the internet. Since 2019, Turkcell has opened Intelligence Power trainings to approximately 18 million students in Turkey's primary and secondary education institutions.
In 2022, Turkcell's activities in the field of accessibility also came to the fore. Sign language support was provided at the Öykü Gürman concert held in Turkcell Vadi on 4 August. Audio description support was also provided for Peter Pan and the Neverland Musical on September 17, The Miser on October 2, and Nobody's in the City on December 19. Within the scope of My Dream Companion application, audio descriptions of 2022 films were made throughout 60.
Obstacles lifted in Turkcell stores
Aiming to provide accessibility to its customers in all channels it touches, Turkcell launched a total of 10 "barrier-free stores" concept in 16 provinces as part of the 81-103 May Disabled Week. The stores have tactile floors and Braille labeling for the visually impaired, and navigation technology is used in indoor areas via the My Dream Companion application. In addition to the special sign language service for the hearing-impaired, quick solution support is provided from the tablet of the employees thanks to the video call center system. In the barrier-free stores, which also contain various solutions for the physically handicapped, different solutions suitable for the ergonomics of the physically handicapped are offered, such as battery wheelchair charging points, safes and smart support units.
'Spring' has arrived for adults
Within the scope of the Digital Spring Project implemented for adults, a total of 6 nursing homes affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Services have met with technology so far. With the project, adults are making more online meetings, watching movies and reading books in digital spring technology rooms. The project will continue in 2023 with the inclusion of new nursing homes. It is planned to add 2022 more nursing homes by the end of 4.
The concept of “Better World” moved to the podcast
Another project implemented by Turkcell in 2022 was the “Better World” podcast. The 10-episode podcast series was broadcast on Turkcell's digital music platform fizy and Dergilik. With their sustainability-focused work, 10 leaders in their fields shared their experiences and experiences. Within the scope of the podcast series, Turkcell Chairman of the Board Bülent Aksu and General Manager Murat Erkan touched upon Turkcell's social, environmental and governance impacts and activities on Sustainability. The podcast, which started in April, reached nearly 8 listeners as of December.
Women Who Wrote the Future mobilized for climate change
The Women Who Write the Future Climate Ideas Marathon competition, organized to increase the entrepreneurship and employment of women in the field of technology, attracted great attention in 2022. Within the scope of the competition, which was designed to support the work of women in the field of technology, the candidates developed innovative ideas that offer solutions for climate change. With the Climate Ideas Marathon, technology entrepreneurship and employment of approximately 200 women were supported, while at the same time, they were ensured to take part in the climate change solution process.
