No Bid Again for Vehicle Purchase Tender for Çiğli Tram Line

Karşıyakaİzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which decided to bid once again for 26 electric tram vehicles to be used on the tram line between Çiğli, returned empty-handed once again from the tender held today.

In order to strengthen the rail system network in urban transportation, the Metropolitan Municipality, which started the construction of Çiğli Tram with an investment of 414 million liras, went out to tender for the purchase of 26 electric tram vehicles in the past months.
