Number of 5G Base Stations in Shanghai Exceeded 68K

The local authorities of Shanghai, the financial center of China, announced that more than 16 68G base stations have been installed in the city, including 5 administrative regions. As of the end of October, China's three largest telecom operators, China Telecom, China Mobile and China Unicom, have approximately 12 million 5G mobile phone users. This number accounts for about 27 percent of Shanghai's total mobile phone users, and data released by the Shanghai Ministry of Local Industry and Information Technology indicate that as of the end of September, Shanghai took the lead nationwide in terms of key indicators of 5G network capacity this year.

At the same time, the aforementioned ministry reports that there are 10 26,6G base stations per 5 city residents in Shanghai, placing the city in the second place in the country. In particular, the city's airports, train stations and metro routes are fully equipped with 5G signals, and the city's major hospitals are included in my 5G scope.
