In this context, Industry and Technology Minister Mustafa Varank brought MMU's mission computer to the Parliament. Before the budget negotiations in the Parliament, a covered box was placed on the coffee table in front of the table where Minister Varank was going to make a speech. While continuing his speech, Minister Varank stated that they have successfully produced the mission computer of the MMU, which will be a 5th generation warplane, and said, “We delivered it to TAI before its time. Our engineers also developed the multi-core version of the real-time operating system running on this highly strategic state-of-the-art mission computer.” had used the words.
Critical software can be installed
MMU's mission computer was designed and developed by TÜBİTAK BİLGEM. mission computer; will have high computational and communication skills. The MMU Project was implemented as a result of the goal of producing a warplane designed and developed by the Presidency of Defense Industries with domestic facilities and capabilities and creating the manpower and infrastructure that can design and develop this aircraft. MMU, of which TAI is the main contractor, is planned to replace F-2030 warplanes in the 16s.
