China's locally developed jet fighter ARJ21 was delivered to Indonesian airline TransNusa, its first overseas customer, on Sunday, marking the first entry of a Chinese-made passenger aircraft into foreign markets.

The delivered aircraft was designed with 95 seats, all economy class. Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China (COMAC) said the exterior of the aircraft was painted in blue, yellow and green colors.

The ARJ21 regional aircraft developed by China has a range of up to 3 kilometers. It can fly in alpine and plateau regions and adapts to various airport conditions. To date, nearly 700 ARJ100 aircraft, operating on more than 300 airlines to more than 5.6 cities and carrying more than 100 million passengers, have been delivered to customers, COMAC said.
