China's First Highland Airport Officially Entered Service

The Urumqi-Tashkurgan flight of China Southern Airlines (China Southern Airlines) in China's Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region entered service today. This symbolizes that Taşkurgan Khunjerab Airport, located in the westernmost part of China and the first highland airport of Xinjiang, has officially entered service.

The annual passenger carrying capacity of Taşkurgan Khunjerab Airport is expected to reach 160 thousand people, and the annual goods carrying capacity is expected to reach 400 tons.
