The 16th TTI Izmir International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress played a major role in promoting the cultural, historical and natural beauties and gastronomic riches of many countries of the world and cities all over Turkey.
Cities that are included in the UNESCO World Heritage List with their ancient cities and historical structures came together under the roof of the 16th TTI İzmir Fair and attracted great attention from the visitors.
The 16th TTI İzmir International Tourism Trade Fair and Congress, organized under the auspices of the TR Ministry of Culture and Tourism, hosted by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of TÜRSAB and in partnership with İZFAŞ and TÜRSAB Fair Organization, continued to be the unchanging route of tourism and the largest tourism platform in Turkey this year. . While hosting tourism professionals from all over the world, the 2023th TTI İzmir Fair, where the road map of 16 tourism was drawn, brought together international exhibitors and visitors again in İzmir. Participation in the fair at the level of ministry and governorship; There was also an intense protocol participation consisting of mayors, heads of chambers, unions and non-governmental organizations. At the fair, which brings together all the richness of the seven regions of Turkey under one roof; Participants from many cities, from Aydın to Adıyaman, from Gaziantep to Istanbul, from Edirne to Trabzon, from Şanlıurfa to İzmir, from Çanakkale to Diyarbakır, took part. Hosted many talks, exhibitions and events
While promoting the destinations in Turkey during the fair, TTI İzmir; In addition to commercial and investment opportunities, it brought together world tourism trends in Fuarizmir with its events, interviews and specially created health tourism and cruise tourism areas. The fair, which hosted professional visitors for the first two days, was also open to the public on the last day. On the main stage of the fair for three days, health tourism, thermal tourism and wellness tourism etc., where experts from Turkey and abroad are speakers. He shed light on Turkish and world tourism with interviews on the subjects.
Standing out with its different activities, TTI İzmir hosted colorful shows and exhibitions. The Hong Kong 21 Photography Exhibition by Çağatay Titiz, a member of the Turkish Photojournalists Association, will host nearly 1957 different exhibitions, including the 1948 model car of Sadri Alışık, the unforgettable name of Turkish Cinema, and the 100 model car used in the movie Driver Nebahat, starring Fatma Girik. Classical Automobile Exhibition with cars of different brands and models, Emine Polat's Dolls in Traditional Dress Exhibition, Eda Aner's Silent Screams 4th Painting Exhibition and Mardin History Photographs Exhibition were open to visitors during the fair. The sessions held in TTI Izmir at the TTI Tech Stage, where tourism and technology issues were discussed, kept the sector representatives informed about the latest developments. Topics such as digital transformation in tourism, online distribution and strategies to expand into new markets, and global payment platforms for hotels were discussed at the 'TTI Tech Stage'.
“Izmir Streets” attracted great attention
Izmir, which has hosted many civilizations and cultures throughout history, took part in the fair together with the Metropolitan Municipality, district municipalities, chambers and non-governmental organizations and introduced its cultural and natural heritage to the world. TTI İzmir became colorful with the “İzmir Streets Special Section” this year as well. Industry professionals had the opportunity to take a short city tour in the area where İzmir Metropolitan Municipality and district municipalities are located. District municipalities, each with special values, enriched İzmir Streets with different themes. In the area where tourism activities of İzmir and its districts are highlighted; The natural, historical, cultural and gastronomic values of the city were introduced to all components of the sector.
