President Erdoğan Appoints Rectors to 9 Universities

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appointed rectors to 9 universities.

According to the appointment decisions published in the Official Gazette, Hatay Mustafa Kemal University Rectorate Prof. Dr. Veysel Eren has been appointed as the Rector of Istanbul 29 Mayıs University, Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sinanoğlu has been appointed as the Rector of Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University, Prof. Dr. İlhan Yaşar Hacısalihoğlu was appointed as the Rector of İzmir Institute of Technology, Prof. Dr. Yusuf Baran, Rector of Kafkas University Prof. Dr. Hüsnü Kapu was appointed as the Rector of Kocaeli University, Prof. Dr. Nuh Zafer Cantürk has been appointed as the Rector of Konya Food and Agriculture University, Prof. Dr. Erol Turan appointed Sabancı University Rectorate Prof. Dr. Yusuf Leblebici and Tokat Gaziosmanpaşa University Rectorate Prof. Dr. Fatih Yilmaz was appointed.

President Erdoğan made the appointments in accordance with Article 2547 of the Higher Education Law No. 13 and Articles 3, 2 and 3 of the Presidential Decree No. 7.
