Kayseri Şeker Will Pay the Beet Price in January

Kayseri Sugar Farmers Assembly held its 24th meeting. Speaking at the meeting where beet agriculture and sugar sector were evaluated, Hüseyin Akay, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kayseri Beet Growers Cooperative; Noting that Kayseri Şeker is the locomotive of the sector, he announced that the price of beet will be paid between 25-31 January 2023.

Noting that they are in the joy of leaving another campaign period behind, President Akay; He said that with the support of the farmer, they resolutely overcame the problems. Reminding that there were disagreements with some shipping cooperatives regarding transportation fees during the campaign period, President Hüseyin Akay said; Stating that pricing is made on the tariffs determined by the highways; 'Transportation cooperatives will also consent to their right,' he said. Upon the Assembly Member farmers expressing that Kayseri Şeker is in safe hands, Chairman Akay said, “As long as you take care of it, Kayseri Şeker continues to be in safe hands. Besides, you showed the best example of this by telling everyone their limits and giving a lesson at the financial general assembly held on August 31," he said.

President Akay announced that the beet prices for the 2022-2023 season are planned to be paid between 25-31 January 2023. President Akay announced that approximately 2 billion liras will be paid together with the assignment and other deductions, of which 600 billion 3 million liras will be paid directly to the farmer.
