BursaFotoFest, Turkey's largest and longest-running international photography event, organized in cooperation with Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Bursa City Council and Bursa Photography Art Association, attracts great attention.
BursaFotoFest, which has become the brand of the city, brings photography enthusiasts together in Bursa this year, as it does every year. Many workshops, interviews and portfolio evaluations were held within the scope of the festival, where 16 photographers from 200 countries participated and 116 exhibitions took place. In the interviews held at Merinos AKKM Hüdavendigar Hall, Timurtaş Onan, Özcan Yurdalan, Engin Güneysu and Prof. Dr. Tansel Türkdoğan and Lynn Gilbert from the USA, Zula Rabiovska from the UK, Vera Hadzhiyska from Bulgaria and Zsuzsanna Fodor from Romania met with photography lovers. In the guest country session, photographers from TÜRKSOY member countries gave information to the participants about the development adventure of photography in the regions they live in. In addition, within the scope of the festival, workshops were organized under 5 different headings. Instructor See. Seyhan Sayar 'Pinhole Photography' and 'Alamunit Photography', Yusuf Aslan 'Storytelling with Photos', Assoc. Dr. Gökhan Erken gave information about 'Analog Photography Workshop (Cyanotype)' and Özcan Yurdalan 'Introduction to Documentary Photography'.
Photographers from Bursa, who listened to their experiences first hand, by showing the frames they took to the master photographers in the portfolio evaluations, also exchanged ideas about the projects.
