Nuts and Fruits Will Be Distributed to Primary and Secondary School Students in İzmir

Providing hot meals and soup support to university students, the Metropolitan Municipality will start to distribute snacks and fruit to primary and secondary school students in January 2023.

20 grams of roasted hazelnuts, 50 grams of raisins, tangerines, oranges and apples will be distributed to primary and secondary school students who need supplements for their physiological and cognitive development. Primarily, 65 schools and 50 thousand students in disadvantaged neighborhoods will be reached. It is planned to expand the project in non-metropolitan districts.
