At the meeting, the latest situation regarding the EYT regulation was evaluated. The EYT draft prepared by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security was discussed at the tripartite summit. In particular, the request from the boss was taken into account.
The age requirement came to the fore again with the allegation that the sudden retirement of 2 million people would create a heavy burden on the boss and the budget.
The age ranges mentioned were 48 for women and 50 for men.
While there is no age requirement in the previous regulation, it is stated that the final decision on the issue will be made at the ministerial meeting on December 12, 2022.
