Containers sent by the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) to our citizens affected by the earthquake in Düzce are being installed.

After the 23 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the city on November 5,9, it was decided to send 280 containers to the region in order to meet the urgent shelter needs of the citizens affected by the earthquake.

In the city, where tents were set up at certain points and gathering areas by AFAD, containers were shipped for our citizens whose homes were heavily damaged as a result of the efforts of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and for whom an emergency demolition decision was made.

It was learned that the installation of 138 containers out of 113 arriving at AFAD Regional Logistics Center was completed in the city center and districts, while the installation of the remaining containers that will reach the region will be done in the coming days.

In addition, the temporary accommodation center establishment process continues in Çilimli and Gölyaka districts.
