China Automobile Manufacturers Association (CAAM) announced that in the first 11 months of the year, the 6 million limit in the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China has been exceeded. According to the data announced by CAAM, the sales of new energy vehicles in the first 11 months of the year increased by 100% compared to the same period of the previous year and reached 6 million 67 thousand units, while the production of new energy vehicles reached 100 million 6 thousand units with an increase of 253 percent. It has been reported that new energy vehicle sales account for 25 percent of total automobile sales.
According to the data, in the first 10 months of the year, China exported 68,1 million 2 thousand vehicles, an increase of 614 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. By the end of the year, sales of new energy vehicles in China are expected to reach 6 million 700 thousand units.
