Photographers who ranked in the International Photography Contest, organized by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality as part of the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World events, received their awards.
The award ceremony of the International Photography Contest, which was organized to document the common aspects of Turkish culture and arts, to strengthen the unity and brotherhood of the Turkic peoples, and to transfer the common Turkish culture to future generations, through photography of the member countries of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), Atatürk Congress and Culture It was done at the Centre. A total of 1799 photographs participated in the competition, which consisted of two parts, the digital (digital) category and the drone category. While 82 photographs were awarded, 64 photographs were deemed worthy to be exhibited.

Speaking at the award ceremony of the International Photography Contest, Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality Alinur Aktaş noted that they made Bursa the heart of the Turkish world and that they carried out beautiful works that will remain in memory for many years. President Aktaş said, “We held good events in order to strengthen the brotherhood of Turks in different geographies. We had the opportunity to introduce our Bursa. Our photography contest, which we held as the Cultural Capital of the Turkish World this year, has also concluded. I would like to thank all the photography volunteers who participated in our competition, where valuable works came from. Congratulations to our award winners. Our title as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World now goes to our dear Azerbaijan, to Shusha. We will support Azerbaijan and this unity will continue to increase," he said.
Bursa Photography Art Association President Serpil Yavaş also thanked President Aktaş, who is always with those who love photography with such events. Slow congratulated the winners of the works.
After the speeches, the winner of the Digital category, Alaattin Şenol, the second Gürsel Egemen Ergin and the third Hamdi Şahin, the winner of the Drone category, İlyas Malçok, the second Gülin Yiğiter and the third İsmail Hakkı Yalçın, received the honorable mention and special award winners from the hands of President Aktaş and the protocol members.
