Bağlum in the District by Keçiören Municipality Karşıyaka The opening of the new generation neighborhood market built in the district was held with the participation of Keçiören Mayor Turgut Altınok, market tradesmen and Bağlum residents.
Addressing the citizens at the opening, President Altınok said, “One of the beautiful services and works that our people deserve is our new generation neighborhood markets. Our market tradesmen start working very early in the morning and work until the evening hours. On the one hand, the customer is also a blessing. We must serve with a smile. The important thing is to take heart, to make heart. A smiling face is a concubine. Reward is entered without giving money. The product in front of the counter and the product behind it should be one. Our Prophet (SAW) says, 'The deceiver is not from us.' I also came from trade. May God have mercy on my father and grandfather. My father used to say, 'Don't turn anyone away without courtesy, God gives his blessings'. This market has a system that cools in summer and heats in winter. Our citizens will not be cold when they come to the market, and our tradesmen will not be cold while doing their trade. May our new generation neighborhood market be beneficial to our city, our market tradesmen and our citizens.” said.
“THE PEOPLE WHO SAY WE ARE BLOCKED ARE LYING”
Noting that the services implemented by the Keçiören Municipality are the first in Turkey, Altınok underlined that no work has been produced by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in the last three and a half years and continued his speech as follows:
“Our neighborhood markets are the first in Turkey. Our people deserve the best of service. Altınok is the pioneer of the firsts and is your servant. connected KarşıyakaWe made our , Hisar, Caucasian and Karakaya neighborhoods sparkling. We renewed the roads and sidewalks. We made the tender for our neighborhood mansion again. If we made the tender for this market area today, the cost would be 20 million TL. The cost of the asphalt we put in our Bağlum region is 50 million TL. We have no excuses. What does Atatürk say, 'No excuse can replace success, when it comes to the homeland, the rest is details.' We work day and night, on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. We do not have foreign trips. Authorities are not eating and drinking authorities. These authorities are service authorities. Keçiören Municipality is currently making record investments and services. As much money comes to opposition municipalities, it comes to us at the same rate. Those who say 'we are blocked' are lying. They blame our government for their incompetence. We also served as mayor in the opposition for years, and produced many works and services. Keçiören continues to be equipped with works and services. We have no words, no words, there is service. There is no one-decare park, no library, no kindergarten built by the Metropolitan Municipality… With our 700 million budget, we produce more works and services than ABB's 19 billion budget. “THE NATIONAL GARDEN WILL BE TENDERED”
Pointing to the month of January regarding the tender for the Nation's Garden to be built in Bağlum, Altınok shared the following information with the citizens:
“Our National Garden project has taken a little longer. The reason for this is the increasing costs during and after the pandemic all over the world. In the last tender, the contractor company said, "I cannot do this job" and burned its guarantee and left. Now, I hope next month, the tender for our Nation's Garden will be held at new prices. When the National Garden is completed, we will have a recreation area of 444 decares. This will be the new lungs of our Capital and Keçiören. We are also constructing a recreation area on an area of 179 decares in Kösrelik. Hopefully next year, we will open our recreation area and sports facilities here.”
