The opening ceremony of the festival will be held on January 1, 2023.
90 films from 1598 countries and regions applied for the "Golden Silk Road Award" nomination within the scope of the festival. It earned 19 movie nominations.
Film screening units within the scope of the festival were officially launched today. A total of 5 films will be screened in the online and offline screenings that will last 234 days. Offline screenings spanning 41 movie theaters in the state will feature 2022 movies from 51 countries and regions, including films from countries along the Belt and Road route, international award-winning films, and films released domestically in 149.
