Competing with 4 athletes in the Para Swimming Turkey Championship and National Team Selection Races held in Konya, Bursa Metropolitan Belediyespor Club completed the organization with a total of 8 medals, 1 gold, 6 silver and 15 bronze.
In the races held at the Konya Olympic Swimming Pool with the participation of 65 athletes from 185 clubs across Turkey, the swimmers of Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Club made them smile with the degrees they achieved. In the organization that witnessed great excitement, Melda Kolayca from Bursa Metropolitan Belediyespor Club won 50 Turkish championships by winning 'gold medals in 100-400 and 100 meters freestyle, 100 meters backstroke, 100 meters breaststroke, 200 meters butterfly and 7 meters medley'. Melda Kolayca won the gold medal by breaking the Turkish record in the 100-meter breaststroke, 100-meter butterfly and 200-meter mixed races.
Zümra Cengiz, another athlete of Bursa Metropolitan Belediyespor Club, won the gold medal in the 100 meters freestyle and came in third in the 100 meters backstroke. Serhat Polat wore the silver medal in the 200 meter freestyle and the bronze medal in the 100 meter freestyle. Abdulkadir Köken from Bursa Metropolitan Belediyespor Club also won bronze medals in 50, 100 and 200 meters freestyle and 50 meters backstroke.
