Therefore, this road work will add value to Havza OIZ.”

Continuing its support in every field for the development of Samsun's economy, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality also shows sensitivity to meet the infrastructure needs of Organized Industrial Zones. Metropolitan Municipality has implemented a very important road project for Havza Organized Industrial Zone. Havza Organized Industrial Zone 1.8 kilometer divided concrete road work started 1 month ago. The divided road connecting Havza OIZ to Samsun-Ankara Highway will have a width of 14 meters. Within the scope of the project, it was stated that 4 percent of these works, where a total of 20 thousand cubic meters of excavation and 90 thousand cubic meters of filling will be made, have been completed. In addition, the 150-meter stone fortification of the road was completed. While the works are planned to be completed by the beginning of the year, business people who have factories in Havza OSB said that a very important need will be met with the construction of a concrete road.

'PRESIDENT DEMIR HAS A GREAT WORK'

Pointing out that the road work is very important for both existing investors and business people who are considering investing in Havza OIZ, Havza OIZ Manager Erol Pepeç said, “Havza OIZ started its operations as of 2014. This is an OIZ where our Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir had great efforts both in the beginning and in the foundations. 28 parcels were allocated. Production has started in 10 plots, construction continues on the rest. The road was not very comfortable on the route between the main road and the OSB. Thank you very much to our mayor of the city. A road work was started here and we were able to reach the concrete road. The teams are working diligently. The industrialist who comes here looks at the infrastructure, the road, transportation, everything. Therefore, this road work will add value to Havza OIZ.”

'INCOMING INVESTOR LOOKS AT THE FIRST ROAD'

Arslan Şahin, the owner of the company in Havza Organized Industrial Zone, said that the current condition of the previous road was not good and said, “We would like to thank our Mayor and everyone who contributed. We use this road every day. Our trucks are coming for transport. Business people and investors from home and abroad come here. In this sense, it was very nice to make this road. The investor who comes here first looks at the road. That's why it was very important for us and our region to build this road.”

'May God be pleased with those who contributed'

Basri Bayram Kantarcı, who works as a manager in a factory located in Havza Organized Industrial Zone, noted that they export all of their products, and therefore, visitors come to this region from abroad all the time. Kantarcı said, “All business people who come here make evaluations in every aspect. The road is also a very important criterion. That's why it was so important to build this road. We had many problems in terms of transportation, especially in the winter last year. At this point, it was very important for us to build the road. God bless those who contributed to this service. Also, because of the concrete road construction, I believe that it will serve for many years. The construction of this road will also provide a separate gain for our guests coming from abroad and domestically," he said.
