The collective opening ceremony in Gaziantep, where many investments, especially Gaziray, were put into use, was held on Saturday, November 5, with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Speaking at the ceremony where the Yamaçtepe Köprülü Junction, built on the Gaziantep Ring Motorway, was opened to traffic, President Erdoğan wished that 30 facilities with a total project cost of 5 billion 169 million TL would be beneficial for Gaziantep and our country.

In his speech, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu stated that they have largely solved the infrastructure problem of Turkey, which has been going on for many years, and said, "We are working non-stop with 5 thousand construction sites and close to 700 thousand employees throughout the country."

Investments were put into service with the ribbon cut by the delegation, which included President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu, and General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.

Yamaçtepe Köprülü Junction is located at the 8th km of Gaziantep Peripheral Highway. With the project, which consists of 44 2-meter overpass bridges and 4,5-kilometer junction branches, the zoning roads were connected to the ring highway. With the alternative route created, the integrity of the urban traffic with the newly opened campuses was ensured, and the ring highway was made more functional.

General Manager of Highways Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, who came to Yamaçtepe Köprülü Junction before the opening and made inspections, received information from Mehmet Fidan, Mersin 5th Regional Manager of Highways.

Within the scope of the main work items of the project; 638 thousand m³ earthworks, 13 thousand 900 m³ ferrous and non-ferrous concrete, 1.100 tons of reinforced concrete, 30 tons of prestressed steel, 50 thousand tons of plantmix sub-base and foundation, 42 thousand tons of bituminous hot mix, 6 thousand 200 m2 horizontal and vertical marking, 8 km guardrail was manufactured.'
