Turkish Aerospace Industries will participate in the "International Defense Exhibition and Seminar" (IDEAS), which is expected to be held for the 15th time this year with the participation of 18 countries, on 2022-11 November 45 at the Karachi Expo Center in Karachi, Pakistan. Turkish Aerospace Industries, which has signed many collaborations with Pakistan recently, aims to hold meetings with the delegations that will visit the company's stand for the promotion of its products and fields of activity within the scope of business development activities.
At the fair, which will be held with national participation under the coordination of the Presidency of Defense Industries, Turkish Aerospace Industries adds a new one to its regional business development efforts. The company will bring its platforms together with the visitors, especially the T129 ATAK, GÖKBEY, ANKA, AKSUNGUR, SMALL-GEO and GÖKTÜRK-Y models, within the scope of the fair, in which visitors from the countries of the region where joint activities take place in many areas will participate. The company, which will host the visitors at the booth numbered Hall 2-B05, will meet with the delegations that will attend the fair, especially Asian countries, for potential cooperation.
Sharing his views on the International Defense Exhibition and Seminar, Turkish Aerospace Industries General Manager Prof. Dr. Temel Kotil said, “Pakistan is our sister country with which we maintain an ancient friendship. In addition to business development activities with Pakistan, we aim to increase joint work on high technologies that will guide the aircraft of the future. Within the scope of the fair, we aim to strengthen bilateral studies, including collaborations in the academic field, especially with the countries of the region.” said.
Turkish Aerospace Industries has carried out many joint studies with Pakistan in the academic field in the past years and reached an agreement with the National University of Science and Technology (NUST), which is among the top 500 universities in the world, in 2019 within the framework of capacity building and human resource exchange. The company, which became the first company from Turkey to open an office in Pakistan's first technopark, National Science and Technology Park, took steps to jointly develop new technologies for the future of the aviation ecosystem between Pakistan and Turkey. Strengthening the cooperation between the two countries by undertaking 2009 F-42 modernization projects in 16, Turkish Aerospace Industries signed an agreement with the Pakistani Armed Forces for the export of helicopters in the past years.
