In this support model, the parties that develop, produce and need information were brought together. Companies that need artificial intelligence solutions were defined as customer institutions.

COMMON FUNDING MECHANISM

A co-funding mechanism was also established in the form of meeting a certain percentage of the project budget by these companies. In the applications, together with the client institution, at least one company as a technology provider, at least one university research laboratory, research center or public research center experienced in this field, a research institute and TÜBİTAK BİLGEM Artificial Intelligence Institute (YZE) formed a consortium.

Within the framework of the program, it is aimed to activate the "Turkish Artificial Intelligence Ecosystem", to transfer knowledge to companies, to create a pre-competitive cooperation approach in the field of artificial intelligence and to train researcher human resources in this field. YZE will be responsible for the basic integration of the solutions developed in this context and the rapid transfer of the accumulated knowledge to the ecosystem.

FOUR PRIORITY AREAS

For this purpose, project outputs such as the catalog of generalized solutions, anonymized database of use cases, lessons learned and communication platform, reusable software libraries and method/tool suggestion system will be gathered under the body of YZE. Within the scope of the program, "Smart Production Systems", "Smart Agriculture, Food and Livestock", "Finance Technologies" and "Impacts of Climate Change" were determined as four priority areas.
