The Metropolitan Municipality, which organizes events spread over a week in order to raise awareness within the scope of the 3 December International Day of Persons with Disabilities in Bursa, brought the disabled people together in a wall painting activity with the theme of 'Our Color is One'.

Making projects in every field in Bursa accessible to disadvantaged individuals, from transportation to the environment, from infrastructure to sports, the Metropolitan Municipality also carries out different activities for disabled citizens to be in all areas of social life. A wall painting activity with the theme of 'Our Color is One' was organized within the scope of the events that were organized for 3 December World Disabled Day and spread over a week in order to raise awareness especially for disabled individuals. The interior walls of Merinos Park turned into a canvas in the event attended by the Metropolitan Municipality Disabled Branch Directorate, Urban Aesthetics Branch Office, Bursa City Council Assembly for the Disabled, Uludağ University Special Education Teaching Department students and Uludağ University Special Education Community. Disabled citizens, who painted their feelings and thoughts on the wall, spent a day to their heart's content.

İbrahim Sönmez, Chairman of Bursa City Council Assembly for the Disabled, stated that such activities are very important for socialization and said that the subjects that are difficult to express verbally are embroidered on the walls with pictures.

Disabled citizens, who had a pleasant day by painting the figures previously drawn by the painters of the Urban Aesthetics Branch, noted that they experienced the happiness of creating a work.
