Education is the most important element required for countries to reach the level of contemporary civilizations and develop, to form social culture and to preserve values.
As members of a religion whose first command is "read", we always see the emphasis on how important education is in our history.
In line with these values, we can never deny the importance of our teachers, who are the pioneers of our education and training life, in our lives and their efforts on us.
Our teachers, the bright torch of our education army, who have left a mark on our lives since our childhood and prepared us for life, are also building the future of our country while raising our youth, to whom we entrust our future.
On this occasion, as the General Directorate of TCDD Transportation, we offer a 24 percent discount on the full ticket price of high-speed and mainline trains between 24-30 November, on the occasion of 50 November Teachers' Day and week, to our esteemed teachers, whose efforts we will never be able to repay.
In addition, in today's world where we live in the comfort of being able to access the education and training environment at any time, we see it as a duty for our nation to support this effort of our teachers by adopting the understanding of "lifelong education", without depending only on classes and certain age ranges.
