TCDD Organized "Assets for Automated and Autonomous Business" Seminar

The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) pressed the button for more efficient use of limited resources in the world. TCDD, in cooperation with the International Union of Railways (UIC), organized an "Assets for Automated and Autonomous Management Seminar" at the international level in order to use resources more effectively in railways in the coming years.

“Assets for Automated and Autonomous Businesses Seminar” was held on November 23 by video conference method. In the seminar, the steps to be taken for the effective use of limited resources in railways were consulted by experts.
The seminar attended by TCDD DATEM Operations Manager Atila Keskin, who is the Vice President of the International Railway Research Board (IRRB) operating under UIC and the Head of the IRRB 2nd Working Group, was followed by many experts from the international platform.

In the seminar that took place; It was emphasized that the effective use of limited resources in the world is necessary for our future generations, and the use of automatic and autonomous technologies will enable the efficient use of limited resources. In the coming years, more automatic and autonomous technologies will be seen applied to the railway and other modes of transportation, and that these technologies; It was underlined that it effectively changed the increasing demand for passenger and freight transport, safety problems, human error and increasing traffic congestion on the railways.

In addition, it will be able to create more secure and efficient sustainable central control by using advanced communication and internet technologies such as high speed internet (5G) technology, Internet of Things, special short distance communication, digital detection cameras and artificial intelligence-based methods.
