Meeting of Industrialists, Traders and Artisans on 1 December

The last stakeholder meeting will be held on December 2023 with the Industrialists, Merchants and Craftsmen Group within the scope of the preparatory work for the Second Century Economics Congress to be held in February 1 by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in Izmir.

The preparations for the Second Century Economics Congress, which will be held in İzmir in February 2023, with the slogan of “We are building the Turkey of the Future” by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, continue. The stakeholder meetings, the first phase of the congress, came to an end. The last stakeholder meeting will be held on December 1 with the Industrialists, Traders and Artisans Group at Swissotel's Conference Hall.

Declarations are made public

Within the scope of the Second Century Economics Congress stakeholder meetings, many sessions have been held since August with the participation of farmers, workers, industrialists, traders and craftsmen's organizations. Declarations prepared at the farmers' and workers' meetings on November 4 and November 17 were shared with the public. The third declaration will be prepared after the meeting of industrialists, traders and artisans group to be held on 1 December.

Expert meetings in January 2023

Following the stakeholder meetings, four separate expert meetings will be held in January 2023, titled "We Understand Our Past, We Accept Each Other, We Return to Our Nature, and We See the Future". In these meetings, many experts in their fields will discuss the three draft declarations prepared by the representatives of farmers, workers, industrialists, merchants and artisans. The declarations handled at the expert meetings will be presented to the main congress in February.

In the last step in February 2023, the Second Century Economics Congress will be held and policy proposals that will shape many areas of the new century such as agriculture, working life, economy, etc. will be shared with all of Turkey.
