Marmaray, the favorite of transportation in Istanbul, is in trouble with graffiti. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure took action to delete the graffiti on the Marmaray train sets without permission.

It has been announced that the graffiti (painting or writing on the public property or public space) on the trains used on the Marmaray line, operated by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, will be cleaned for thousands of liras.

According to the information in the Public Procurement Bulletin, the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) held a tender on October 3 under the name of “Graffiti Cleaning of Marmara Train Sets”.

It was announced that Jung Jin Electronic Construction Organization Company, which submitted a bid of 200 thousand TL, won the tender. It was stated that the train surface of 5 thousand square meters will be cleaned of graffiti within the scope of the tender.
